This championship game brings us a rematch of two powerhouses from the SEC. LSU beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa 9-6 in overtime in their first match up in November. That was the only loss of the season for the Tide. It has been a long time off for Alabama. There last game was a 42-14 win over in state rival Auburn on November 26th. Saban is one of the shrewdest coaches in the country, so I am sure he will have some tricks up his sleeve.

LSU just seemed to get stronger as the season progressed. They absolutely crushed their competition after the Alabama game. And that included a 41-17 win over then No. 2 Arkansas and a 42-10 win over Georgia in the SEC championship game. Les Miles is a great college coach and will have these guys prepared.
